    • SOHO Motorsports built Nissan 370Z VQ37VHR sets horsepower record at 1084 RWHP with EcuTek tuning

1000+ RWHP Nissan 370Z here from SOHO Motorsports. This is also the most powerful VQ37VHR motor to date. Yes, the engine is obviously built with forged internals and SOHO Motorsports tuned it through EcuTek software.

      Incredible power:

Yes, you will notice torque falls off but that is past 8000 rpm. This is revving out much higher than the factory redline of 7500 rpm all the way past 9k rpm.

Here is the dyno run from the record horsepower run as we were able to do multiple passes over 1000 whp and 25+ psi
      .
If you pay attention in the video you will see the bottom gauge on the a pillar says 4 psi.
      .
This gauge is monitoring coolant pressure in the engine and that was the highest pressure we saw throughout the dyno
      .
The following day we took this car to Rockingham Dragway and did multiple passes as these horsepower levels and the highest pressure we saw in the coolant system was 8 psi.
      .
To give you an idea a stock vhr when boosted or gets up to temperature will 14 to 16 psi.
      .
The issue with headgasket lift has been resolved with our motor packages and will be tested extensively throughout the week TX2K
      .
      Final numbers:
       1084 rwhp
       726 ftlbs
      .
      Boost: 32.4 psi
      .
      ⛽: Ignite E90
      .
      Tuning: EcuTek Technologies Ltd
With the turbo sticking out the way it does this is not exactly a sleeper or a daily setup but it shows what the 370Z is capable of.

Me thinks they have to big of a turbo on there for what the heads can flow. The motor starts choking up right as it hits full boil.
